Celebrate Earth Day with Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden and Kernersville Parks & Recreation! Create a poster, learn about native wildflowers, make an upcycled suncatcher, and learn what you can do to protect our planet. Participants are encouraged to bring a recycled plastic water bottle for the suncatcher craft. 

Pack a picnic and enjoy lunch on the lawn following the event. In the spirit of Earth Day, we encourage a zero waste picnic (ex. resuable water bottles/plates/silverware, cloth napkins, washable snack/sandwich bags).

This is a FREE, family-friendly event. Recommended ages 10 and under.
